2010 Review

Even though quite late for a year review, I can still use the excuse that Lunar New Year is not over yet to try to sum up what happened in 2010. For me, 2010 came and went by just like a snap. Somehow, I managed to get quite a few important things done this year, most of them were not at all in my plan, or even my imagination at the start of last year.

Well, I GOT MARRIED!! I wouldn’t believe it if you told me this last year. It wasn’t an easy decision, but I didn’t regret making it at all. Things went quite smoothly for us, and personally I don’t feel any differences or changes after the wedding – not sure if this is good or bad. My wife had done a great job preparing the ceremony (pictures, dresses, decorations, invitations, etc…), and now she’s taking good care of me. Nothing much to complain here

Another big change was moving back to HCM city, changing job. The first few months in PVC-Metal were pretty boring with no acquaintances and no specific task, and I was mostly in the office waiting till tennis game 3 times/week. But then thing started to change and I was so busy with Material Department, ISO, IT tasks, and especially LPG Thi Vai project.

Other than those, I did some traveling as well though might not as much as the year before. However given my poor memory, I had to find my passport to remind me of places I traveled to last year. In chronological order:

Visited Singapore for DS VAR meeting on February held in Sentosa area.

Went to Phukhet, Thailand with Chip, KL and LinhLinh in April for holiday. Diving, swimming, shopping, and sight-seeing, but not as fun as the trip to DaNang with 3 other couples the year before.

June 1st, moved to Saigon to start at a new company.

November, went on a business trip to England and Europe (Switzerland, Lichtenstein, and Germany). My first time to Europe officially.

Let’s see what 2011 will bring.
